Welcome to part 2 of the conversation on Self-Trust!

In the first episode I talk about why we need self-trust, why we lose it and how to build more of it so you partner with your intuition, inner knowing and from here create a life you truly love living.

In this episode I discuss how to repair Self-Trust when it’s been broken and why it’s imperative that we do so.  I share two powerful practices that you can use to restore self-trust when it’s been violated or broken.

This episode is also a deeply personal exploration, where I share my own limiting beliefs and belief systems that erode my own ability to connect with self-trust and I share intimately about how I’m working through them by shifting and expanding my perspective about the origins of the limiting belief systems itself.

This is an intimate and profoundly potent episode that I am deeply honored to share with you, my intention is that it inspires and ignites within you the growth and repair of your own self trust as the gateway to truly creating a life that is a reflection of your deepest dreams and desires!

Hello there my friend. I am just so honored that you hit play, that you're spending a little bit of time with me today. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I wanted to briefly introduce this episode because, I noticed that, the last release of the Dr. Tammy Talks podcast was on self-trust, and apparently the message wasn't complete and I had recorded another episode all about self-trust and I was sort of going back and forth on which episodes should I publish, and I realized I think they both need to be published. This episode is, A little bit more intimate. This episode is about how we heal the fracture or the fraction or the disruption to our own self-trust and why it's so important we that we do that. I hope you'll find this episode not just valuable in terms of restoring your own self-trust, but that you will recognize Why and how deeply embedded the belief systems are that we carry that runs counter to it. In this episode, I talked specifically, About sort of this fracture, uh, between science and spirituality, but now on further reflection, I believe that that, fracture, that separation, false separation has been pervasive throughout society. You don't have to be in quote unquote science or quote unquote academia or quote unquote, Healthcare, moral medicine to have a, a mental and visceral resistance to the union of these two ideas. And we bastardize this process when we call it woo or woo, woo or woo science or pseudoscience, and. This is a way to keep, I believe now to keep people disempowered. And I want to say thank you for being counterculture with me. Thank you for seeing that as almost scapegoat, a way of silencing, dismissing, or trivializing. Some of the aspects of this emerging of science and spirituality that allow us to step into our full power to become the conscious creators of our life experience and to do so with so much love and courage and bravery and integrity, and that this is the leading edge conversation that helps us not just restore the trust that we have with ourselves, with life, with our life journey, but. Restores for me, my trust in humanity to know I'm doing this work alongside you. I, there are no words. We are the leaders of a revolution. We are the leaders. We are the renegades. We are the rebels. We are the Dreamers and we are the creators of this new future of truly a new Earth. And to say that I'm honored to be on the journey with you is, uh, doesn't do it justice, my friend, from the depths of my heart, from the depths of my being. Thank you for being on this journey with me. I get personal here. I hope you don't mind shut it down if that ain't your thing. But in this episode, I invite us all to repair our sense of self-trust and to trust ourselves even more than we already do. I hope you enjoy this episode, and as always, I love hearing from you. So send me a message. Let me know your thoughts. Enjoy the show. Hello there. Welcome to another episode of Dr. Tammy Talks. I'm Dr. Tammy, so happy to be spending some time with you today. I wanted to talk about self-trust for so many reasons I wanted to talk about self-trust mostly because I think it's the thing that we lose. In the journey to burnout, in the journey to being overwhelmed by our own addictions or our self-sabotaging, self-destructive behavior, and it's the thing that gets co-signed by. The conditioning and the programming that brought us here. And so I wanted to have this conversation because I think first of all, it's so valuable for us to come back to ourselves and trust ourselves. And it is one of, I think, the most. Pivotal points on the journey to recovery and reclaiming ourselves is that we restore the relationship we have with ourselves and we rebuild the self-trust that has been broken. And I say this because when we trust ourselves, it means we're willing to. Listen to the body. We're willing to listen to our intuition. We're willing to recognize our emotions as valuable feedback. We're willing to honor the body and its needs as sacred and worthy of respect, and we're also willing. To connect to something deeper within us that tells us that there's more, that we're made for more, that it's possible for us to achieve more, and that we're just kind of playing by the wrong rules. And that if, we will unite with our intuition, if we will begin playing With our thoughts, with our mind, with curiosity, with self-directedness, that it's, it's really the realm of consciousness and the energy that flows from that, that becomes such a powerful creative force in our lives, and we intuitively know this and we write this off again and again and again. Or is that just me? And I think for me a part of it, cuz I, so let me just share some of my self-trust journey with you because I'm still on the journey, my friend, because I think that we're so stripped of our self-trust along the way. We're trusting this authority, this teacher, this guru, this paradigm, this um, institution. This. Religion, this, whatever. We outsource our own wisdom. We don't honor our inner intelligence. How often have you had this retrospective analysis where you're like, whoa, my intuition was screaming at me and I just didn't listen? Right. So, when those moments happen, when you have in your mind's eye something egregious, something that you knew was like, Ooh, this was the point where I, intuition was loud and clear, and I ignored it, bypassed it, minimize it, denied it, what have you. I want you to go back to those instances. And I want you to recognize like this was the violation point and the benefit of this is that then we can go back and repair this relationship with ourselves. We need a reparation process here, and I've been doing this with myself more and more, even over minor infractions. Like putting a hand on my heart, putting a hand on my belly, feeling my vital life force, feeling my own body, my intelligence, and saying, I'm sorry. I heard you and I didn't listen, and I see the outcome of this. Thank you for always trying to guide me. Thank you for your wisdom and your guidance. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you, and I will do better next time. I'm trying to listen to you and partner with you. Thank you. Right. Or it could be something more formal, like a letter writing practice, depending on how large the infraction is. I certainly had to do some letter writing to myself, to my intuition, to my inner wisdom, um, to heal the self-trust that had been so, Decimated, truly. And it's really interesting cuz as we cultivate this self-trust, life gets so much better. It just gets so much better and we become more willing to listen to ourselves. And as we become more willing to listen to ourselves and as we do so more deeply, there are so many deeply entrenched beliefs that surface. The ones that have been running counter to are trusting ourselves in the first place. They have roots. And as you get deeper, you know, it's like if you think of a tree, As you get up high, you're like, you know, there's twigs, right? There's small branches, and as you get closer to the trunk, like, oh, the branches get bigger, and then you get to the trunk and you're like, this is a behemoth. Like, I'm gonna need excavating machinery. My little saw or my little hands are just not gonna do it, right? We're, I'm gonna have to recruit some help. This baby is big, so, That's kind of the same thing with belief systems. We can kind of break off some of the beliefs that are I hate to use the phrase superficial when we're talking about beliefs, cuz they're so deeply embedded, but you know what I'm saying, like the low-hanging fruit, if you will. And then as you go along this journey, you're gonna realize like, wow, that twig, that branch was part of a, of a far greater, larger belief system that now I'm rubbing up against. And one of those that I'm rubbing up against for myself is the fraction that has existed between science and spirituality. And I knew that this fraction had existed within myself cuz I am a holistically minded person. I, I see big systems, I see big pictures. It's, it's part of the way my brain works. It's part of the genius that is me, uh, before you, before you get impressed. I also am the person that like can't find keys and loses their phone on the regular. So what is that idiot savant or something? So, Um, but one of my strong suits is being able to see small pieces of information and extrapolate them into larger systems and see patterns like large patterns, like cosmic patterns, like large patterns, and, and very. Interesting. Especially as like I start doing this work, I realize, wow, not everybody's mind works this way. I realize like I'm somewhat unique in this capacity, and what it has shown me is that I have to learn to trust myself because so much of what I see extends beyond the current paradigm. It is a merging of science and spirituality and. When I went all in on science, what ended up happening was I fractured off a piece of my spirituality unknowingly, unintentionally, but I made that choice right when I went all in in a medical profession and a surgical profession. I didn't fully understand that I was making that choice, and I'm autocorrecting now and. In doing that, it's coming back to self-trust and I'm still on that journey now, my friend, because as I get deeper into understanding consciousness and energy and atoms and how we're influencing our field and how that influences the field of all that is, and how these energy fields, that's all that we are. Everything that we see is a construct of different energy fields becoming manifest into physical reality. And it has me so much more anchored in the power of our thoughts, our beliefs, our emotions, our energy, and how we're guiding that. And so it is a blending of science and spirituality. Cause I rely on the science to help guide. My fundamental understanding of field energy and how these things work, and I've come across some really impressive work by, Herman and I am blown away by his unified field theory because it's the science that confirms so much of what my intuition has already been telling me, right? So I still rely on science to confirm what my intuition is telling me. I'm like, wow, I really, I really love the idea of getting to the place where I can trust my intuition without needing scientific evidence. I'm on the journey. I'm not there yet. It's okay. And what I've also discovered is that the fraction between science and spirituality was forged hundreds of years ago. Truly in like the 16 hundreds there was. Basically an inquisition on any scientist who was going to upend the religious reign of people's minds and power, like the religious organizations of the world wanted to keep their power and their influence, right? Power, money, influence. And so the key scientists at the time, like, Copernicus Galileo, these people were imprisoned sometimes for the remainder of their lives, right? Held hostage, imprisoned. Some scientists were killed at the stake for proposing that the earth wasn't the center of the universe. For proposing that the earth wasn't flat for proposing that we orbited the sun, that the sun was the center of the universe, and that there were other planets orbiting it as well. Now we take this for granted, this knowledge, but at one point in time this was heresy, as I look back on this, I'm able to see science had to break away from spiritual traditions because it, it had to almost separate itself from that painful oppression and suppression. It had to say, we're different than you. We're not even playing in the same wheelhouse as you. We are claiming sovereignty. And so in doing that, there was almost this. Again, unknowing intention that we were never going back there again. That science was gonna be a field that stood on its own and it was never going to dabble back into the realm of the spirit. And now it's coming full circle. I believe there's a whole new. Emergence in science that's coming back and it's getting so much pushback from the scientific community, physicists, nuclear physicists, physicians, right? All kinds of scientists, quote unquote, are abandoning the scientific method and the essence of what science is, which is to understand the world. Ourselves, our role in it and to optimize the human condition. I mean, this is truly the gift of truly understanding science. And it is fascinating to me that some of these really deeply entrenched beliefs have truly transcended generations. And there is such a fear in. The mind and the body of a scientist that rejects anything that's trending into the realm of what is spiritual. And I'm seeing that within myself. These larger systems, these larger belief systems, inevitably there's a thread of them or a tree trunk of them that exists within our own psyche, within our own minds and our bodies. And that creates resistance. This creates the fraction, the inability to trust myself, my inner knowing, my intuition, my wisdom, my connection to all that is, which we are connected, my friend. You are connected. You can't not be, you are constantly influencing the field of all that is, and the field of all that is, is constantly influencing you. There's this idea that the field is what's actually guiding cellular division, cellular replication. I mean, did you know you're making a million cells a second? The turnover in the human body is phenomenal. The amount of growth and continual repair that's taking place is astonishing. It's on an astonishing scale, and you are not making any of that happen. There's a very compelling theory that it's the field that's actually guiding all of that. And we get in the way of that field when we start, blocking our own inner trust, our own inner knowing, and not flowing with our own flow of life. So this is a part of my own journey that as I get deeper into understanding, as I get deeper into understanding the role of consciousness, the role of the mind, the power of the mind, and our ability to direct energy, and that we've come here as creators to create. Not to follow along, not to follow the rules, not to be good girls and good boys, but to create lives we love. It means we're going to have to double down on self-trust because that is where we're being guided too. This is the direction of the creation and sometimes it's breaking away from these. Truly false broken paradigms. that it's about accumulating wealth. It's about accumulating assets. It's about, um, proving your worth. It's about looking good to other people. Like we need to break free of all of that. And that takes courage. That takes amazing amounts of courage and self-trust. And we've got both my friends, these are skills. We can build them, we can rely on them, and we can use them to live a better life. And when we start doing this work, life gets so good. Life gets so good. It doesn't mean it's without, its challenges, right? Things are gonna come up that, that are like, so obviously, oh, I'm hitting a limiting belief system here. Don't make it a problem. Recognize it as another milestone on the journey of your own growth, your own evolution, your own becoming, and truly the reclaiming of you as the creator of your own life experience. This is where fulfillment comes. This is where meaning comes. This is where true joy lives is just a being on the journey. So good. All right. These are my thoughts today. Thanks for being with me, for being part of my community. I appreciate you. I love you so much. It's gonna take all of us, my friend, because what we're really doing here, it's finally hitting me. What we're really doing here together is we are shifting the paradigm. We are shifting the consciousness. We are at the leading edge. I am so. Loving you, appreciating you, recognizing that it is gonna take each and every one of us to be truly these warriors, these courageous creators in our own lives. And that it benefits not just us, not just our families, not just our communities, but all that is. Thank you for being with me, for being on the journey. And also I wanna just give a shout out. Thanks for following me and listening to me. I know the, the podcasts have been a little sporadic. I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy right now, and I am, you know, there's an energy flux. I am trusting myself. I am trusting the flow of energy. I am trusting the messages that come out. I am trusting you. That you get it. That you get the journey and that you're still on it with me. Thank you. I'm spending some time to build some valuable resources that will support you while I take a little maternity leave at the end of this summer and really spend time just celebrating and nurturing this new life that's coming. I just, I appreciate you so, so much. Thank you for. Being you and being on this journey with me, I will catch you again soon. Take care.
